Who We Are
OFDownloader (by SaveMyDayApp; site hlsdownloader.com) is a small, product-focused team obsessed with making video downloading simple, safe, and accessible to everyone. We started in 2022 with a single goal: help creators and viewers take back control of their own content.
Over the years we have evolved from a browser snippet to a cross-platform toolkit for Chrome (ZIP install), Edge-compatible Chromium browsers, Windows, and macOS — without intrusive ads or bundled bloatware.
🌳 Our Long-Term Principles
- 🧭 User-Centric – Every design decision starts with a real user story, never with a vanity metric.
- 📊 Data-Driven – We instrument, measure, and iterate. Feelings guide hypotheses; data validates them.
- 🔄 Continuous Improvement – Weekly releases, automated tests, and zero-downtime rollouts keep the product fresh.
- 🎯 Goal-Oriented Execution – Small, well-scoped tasks compound into big, audacious outcomes.
- 🤲 Stay Humble – Celebrate wins, admit mistakes, keep learning.
🚀 What We Build
| Product | Platform | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| Chrome Extension | Chrome / Brave / Edge | One-click HLS / DRM download, bulk queue, subtitles |
| Desktop App | Windows & macOS | Batch download + auto-merge to MP4 |
